Overall, it was a good experience as far as the facility and staff. It is clean and bright. All rooms have big windows for sunlight. The dining room had glass doors that opened to a small but very nice outdoor space. The staff is friendly and engaging with residents. The kitchen is accommodating to specific needs. Unfortunately, my father was not able to stay. Made it 2 weeks. He could not acclimate, stubbornness on his part. He fell twice because he would not use a walker. The 2nd time he was sent to the ED. We have had an amazing experience at Capital Ridge from the moment we first visited. The staff is warm and welcoming and the first thing that we noticed was how happy all of the residents were. [Name Removed], the director, was thorough in her explanation of the residence, the benefits, costs etc all the while being extremely compassionate to our needs.
