This place is dreadful. It looks nothing like the pictures on the website. The rooms are messy; some don’t even have curtains. The meal portions are tiny and right out of a can. It is unpleasant to visit and I’m glad I was not the poor resident. My family was very upset with the staff and the facility.

My friend is a resident of Carlton Senior Living Davis. It's very nice and very well-kept. I believe she is well cared for. She had a little dog for a while who has died now, but they helped her take care of her little dog. She said they have a nice Christmas tree up now to see. The first time I was there, we had lunch with her, and it was very good food, very nice to have the food just served to us. Her personal space is quite small. We had a quick visit to Carlton Senior Living Davis. They had two rooms and one was under construction and the other one was a one-bedroom. We had to have a two-bedroom. The building wasn't as nice as the other two places. They had a little garden outside.

Carlton Senior Living Davis has independent, assisted, and memory care. My mother is going into the assisted living. I like that it was a diverse community (at least that was how it was presented to me by the saleslady). The clientele there represented the community of Davis. My Father In law just moved in to the Carlton in Davis. He has some issues with the transition. The staff are so caring and on top of it. They have called me with several options to keep him there as he cannot live alone. They really do care about him as a person. I am really impressed with the employees and the facility is well kept.
