Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove was a pretty good facility. They did both assisted and memory care. Memory care was kind of more on the back. The rooms were good sized. It's just a tour, so we only visibly got to see quick elements of it, but the activity seemed thorough for the day. Staff coverage seemed solid. We didn't get to see any of the kitchen or anything like that or any of the food or anything, so we don't know anything about that part. The community director seemed fine, very thorough, and…

I like Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove. The person there was good. They have a lot of activities. They were well planned. They had a lot of information to give, so we had a really good picture of everything that happened there. Compared to the other place, it is smaller, but it is still big. Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove is the best, but it's expensive. It is quiet (because there were fewer people there) and clean. It's like a deluxe hotel. Also spacious. They answered every question you had and they were cooperative. They serve three meals a day.

Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove was too expensive. I got to tour it last year before the pandemic happened, and it was very good. There's nothing wrong with the place. The people I talked to were very helpful, answered my questions, and were really nice. I saw the dining room and the kitchen, and I was really impressed. I was looking for a studio at that time. Carlton Senior Living Elk Grove was very impressive. It felt very much upper scale like we were on a cruise ship. There were a lot of activities going on inside and it's a much newer facility. They had a live band when we were there and they were celebrating a birthday. The staff during the tour was very helpful. It's a little bit higher with the cost, but the facility was very nice. We ate there and the food was excellent.
