PositiveIn my opinion, the food service needs significant improvement. Meals are one of the things residents can look forward to each day, so the quality and variety are very important. I would also suggest reviewing the meal photos in the brochure, as they do not seem to reflect what is actually being served. I hope changes can be made to improve the dining experience. I would also like to mention what a blessing Celebration Villas has been. They offer so many activities, and it is reassuring to know that my family memb…

PositiveI visited Celebration Villa of Martinsburg. It's a very nice facility, but they seemed a little short on staff. The staff was very helpful, but it seemed like one person was trying to do four or five jobs. It's pretty. The location is great. They do a wonderful job with the folks there. The people living there all seemed very happy to be where they were. I saw four people working there and probably 20 residents. While I was trying to take the tour, the residents were asking the one person giving the tour …

PositiveWe felt that Celebration Villa was a good fit for my parents. Our main reason for beginning the search was to get them closer to us. We found a place only 4.5 miles from our house. Its a 2br, 2 ba, with den condo. We can check on and help them easily as needed now and the veterans administration provides caregiver services 3 days a week in addition to doctor and nursing come to the house as needed.

CriticalCelebration Villa of Martinsburg had a very strong smell of urine when we walked in the door, but the person during the tour was nice. When we first walked in, the residents seemed to be just sitting around in the general area right in front. It didn't look like they were being attended to at all. It was just very odd. It didn't really scream out to me that this is where I wanted to put my mom. It did not feel like a modern interior to me. They had a resident who was playing the piano there.
★★★★★
PositiveI really liked the atmosphere of the place and the layout. I was disappointed that the room I was shown did not have a kitchen area. My son liked the people. I will not be looking to move any time soon as I will be relying on insurance to make payments and my health is not bad yet. Will be interested in visiting again in the future.
★★★★★
PositiveThe staff is very friendly, and understanding with people with dementia. A lot of activities during the day to keep them busy a lot of little parties and celebrations overall very nice place to have your loved one.
