I really didn't like Century Oaks too much. It was a little old and it needed to be modernized, but the price point is great. I actually ran into a couple who were dropping off their mother there. They said their mother totally enjoyed it, and they were very happy with it. I just thought it was a little shabby for my father. There were definitely much nicer ones. It was good, and it was clean. The two people who were giving me a tour were kind of multitasking. They were doing a lot of different things, but I s…

Century Oaks is located very close to the other facility, and it's smaller, but very nice, very clean. They had had the nice walking area, a gym, and everything is self-contained. The staff was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, and very helpful. We looked at the assisted living, and it was nice. What I liked about that was that they checked on you daily. There was a nurse who would come in and administer meds, whether it was morning, afternoon, or evening; you didn't have to worry about your own meds. Al…

I wouldn't recommend Century Oaks. It was an older facility, and it wasn't as clean as the other ones that I went to. The rooms were small. The staff was helpful and answered all of my questions. She gave me a tour of the dining area, but I did not taste any of the food. The dining area seemed OK. They had an exercise room. They could have improved on the cleanliness. Also, the hallways where their laundry room was were carpeted, and there were bleach stains on the carpet.

I toured Century Oaks. The staff there were very efficient. They were undergoing a lot of changes when I looked at the place, but I loved their larger apartments. It's beautiful, and their rates were lower, and they were closer to $3,000. A washer and dryer, a stove, a refrigerator, and a microwave were all supplied. The one thing that held me back was that I didn't see many residents. They just seemed to whiz by, no smiles, nothing, just on their motor scooters. You could tell they were semi-independent,…

Century Oaks is a nice place. The apartment was a little smaller than we would have wanted, but the people seemed happy. The people were outside talking to each other. The staff was also very friendly. There were two people that I saw, a man and a woman, and they both answered every question and were very cordial. The facility was very clean. Everything looked very good and everybody was nice.

I have decided to go to Century Oaks and will be moving to their independent living. The staff members are very friendly and very nice. The apartments are very big. The apartment has a full kitchen, complete with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, and refrigerator. You can either go down to the dining hall to eat or you can cook for yourself. I prefer to go down to the dining hall because I'm tired of cooking for myself. They also said they have full activities. I could see their activity board where they h…
