I am/was a resident of this facility

The rooms are fine. Staff is good, food is fair. Sometimes very good, but fair average. The reason for my leaving it is not safe. The security needs to be increased because they get people off the streets and around the facility. The concrete sidewalks are in dire need of repair. There are a lot of walkers which makes it dangerous for them to walk on those. They have a big percentage of people with dementia so you will spend much time visiting with them and answering the same questions. It was a big much for me sin…

I visited this facility

The rooms at Cherry Creek Retirement Village are great. We checked the studios and the one bedrooms. We also had a tour of all the activity rooms, the courtyard, the main room, the food area, and the dining area. We looked at everything while we were there. The dining area was very nice. It was kind of in a formal setting, like a restaurant. Most of our interaction was with the main contact there, but anybody we saw was very friendly. They seemed to know the residents. I thought that was good.

It was good. The retirement village was too expensive to maintain residence. The staff was stellar. One in fact by the name of [name removed] who I think was the managing director at the time actually was very instrumental in saving my life!! High praise for the staff - ALL of them.
