PositiveIt's all about the service.
The food is excellent, the grounds are well kept. There are many activities. The staff is friendly. But they are short staffed so the response is slow and there are gaps in the service.

Great food. In fact it's probably the best place for the food in comparison to other similar facilities. My problem is I recently had to my gall bladder removed bebecause of the inability to digest fats and sodium. The activities are plentiful and varied enough to appeal to a wide audience. But then I only have a masters degree from UC Berkeley, which may be a little too far afield for this place . Oh and bring lots of money for this place because the rent here is out of this world.

I liked Clearwater at Sonoma Hills. It was lovely, clean, brand new, and well-appointed. It seemed to be well-staffed and very secure. I couldn't have been more impressed. Holly was the gal who helped me, and she was delightful, very informative, and gave me great information on things surrounding dementia and Alzheimer's.
