PositiveThis is a great and affordable place if you’re looking for memory care. A diagnosis of cognitive impairment is needed to move in but they take such good care of the patients. It shows in the patients' faces.

I liked Cogir of Peoria, if you were looking for something that was full memory care only. The staff was very friendly. I liked the secured front doors and stuff. I noticed that no matter which hall you went to. It was not a huge facility, which, personally, I think is a better fit for a lot of people with memory care, and it's not as overwhelming. No matter what hallway you went down to, there was always somebody who had eyes on the residents, so you didn't have somebody just left there, which I liked. I…

Great people. Clean facilities. Billing is an issue. The amount shouldn't be changing almost on a daily basis. For example we met with the billing people on [date removed] and I was given a billing amount written out with detail of what was being charged. On [date removed] I was called and they were asking for an enterally different amount. I will pay what was detailed for me on the [date removed].
