I would give the facility 5 stars. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to my mother. As she has adjusted to the situation, she has become involved with activities, which is really good for her. She has said the food is good and I have seen the menu, it looks good. The facility has looked clean every time I visit. My mother's room has been clean as well. I think that her room is a good size for her. She has a small studio size room and it is for a single person . I'm sorry but I don't know the actual dimension…

We have chosen Commonwealth Senior Living at Christiansburg. We made our choice based on the cleanliness of the facility, and the staff, and director whom we met. It seemed like a good fit for family members. My mother-in-law will have a suite with one other person. They have a kitchenette area, and a restroom area, and two rooms. Overall it was good. Cleanliness of the facility - always tidy in the common areas. Both parents rooms were often not very clean but that was more related to their illnesses and frequent GI issues than anything. As soon as staff got them cleaned up, parents promptly uncleaned.
