CriticalIf I could rate this place a 0 I would. My experience with Concordia Rehabilitation Facility in the South Hills was extremely upsetting and, frankly, dangerous. I would not recommend this facility to anyone looking for safe, attentive care for a loved one. My mother was a patient there, and her condition was not properly monitored. There was a serious lack of attention from the nursing staff—at one point, it took nearly an hour for someone to respond and check on her despite clear signs that something was wrong. Th…

PositiveConcordia Of South Hills Review December 12, 2025 Furnishings: Five Stars. Excellent. A nice blend of modern and traditional. The lamps and the pictures are beautiful. The furniture is very nice and well placed. Nice grouping of chairs and tables for socializing. No clutter. Décor is modern and beautiful. Food: Five Stars. Food is excellent. A nice blend of local favorites and classic food. It would be nice to have an afternoon cup of tea or a cookie. Staff: Overworked and tired but friendly and helpful. Understaff…

CriticalIf you are truly Independent (able to take care of yourself 100%), it might be OK. Very expensive, poorly maintained (A/C not working in 1/2 the building during summer), management has NO idea what the staff is doing. Staff is totally hit or miss. Most staff members do NOT CARE one lick about you or your family. They are content to sit in the lobby and play on their phones all day. Some members are good, even very good, but they are the exception. Most of the ratings fall below 50% approval. If a 50% chance of acce…

PositiveMy mom was there after a recent fall at home. she was there a little over 2 weeks. The physical and occupational therapists were out standing. Patty from PT. Loved her. Amenda was great. The Aids, well you'll know who the good ones are. Bonnie though, They need to Clone her. Very caring and goes above and beyond. All i can say it was a good overall visit was good but you need to be there and make yourself visible.

CriticalBuckle up, it’s a long one. Now I’m not one to complain to write negative reviews, but If I could give 0 stars I would. My grandma spent 21 days here following a fall resulting in her needing to be in a wheelchair until she can walk on her own again. From day 1, it was a nightmare. Staff leaving her to lay in her waste for a long time, a nurse being very rough with her and whipping her around her bed while moving her or dressing her, a nurse dropping a pill on the noticeably filthy floor IN FRONT OF ME and giving i…

CriticalMy mother became a resident of Concordia of the South Hills after a fall and hospital stay where she was treated for pneumonia. She was discharged with a fractured back and a hernia. Upon consult with the back surgeon, my mother was advised to gain 30 pounds and to have the hernia repaired first. During her stay at Concordia of the South Hills, she was seen by a nutritionist who recommended “magic cups” for weight gain. We needed to request these on multiple occasions to have them provided. She was given Ensure ene…
