My mother and Step father have had a wonderful time at Jacaranda trace both in their independent living for 7 years and now their assisted living community. The nursing staff is warm and friendly and take an active interest in residents well being. Everyone including the maintenance staff, business office and dining services has been incredibly helpful and unwaveringly positive.

Was excited to tour this facility as a possible home for my sister, after participating in a Wellness and Health Fair there, representing a non-profit. I was very impressed with the facility, the staff, and the residents. Imagine my surprise when I was told that residents are not accepted for Assisted Living from "outside", but need to already be residents in the Independent Living community to be considered. So don't waste your time, if you're looking for AL or Memory Care for a family member. Strange business mod…

We have learned that not all Senior Living Environments are created equal. When one considers health, age, and finances plus whether the organization is profit focused or mission focused, it’s not like merely searching for a new home. Another consideration is if you’re able to age in place...meaning, does the Senior Living Environment have the resources and physical plant to accommodate your needs if/when you require additional services. One more factor to consider is the value you place on quality relationships. W…

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My parents were at Jacaranda Trace. It was very clean. The staff was very friendly, but it was overpriced. The food went downhill. The activities were good. There's exercise classes, concerts, games, and activities like that. They go out of there and they'll go to the Symphony, and so there's a lot of activities. They just need to improve their communication.

I visited this facility

I went to Jacaranda Trace, which has a variety of levels. You can go independent and move to the next level and then the next level. The main thing that they have that I'm still interested in at this point is a pool because the sister is disabled (who I take care of and who lives with me) and that is the only means of therapy for her. But it starts with independent living and then it's the spectrum of it. If you need more help, you can move to assisted living and so forth. The living space was phenomenal …

I visited this facility

I toured Jacaranda Trace. The salesperson was very nice. When you walk into the facility, it was very nicely decorated. All the people there seemed very nice. I had put down a deposit on an apartment, but I decided I didn't like the apartment because I needed to make a lot of changes to update it. I wanted new flooring and they sent me to someone who was very expensive and I felt like it was not going to be a good deal after all. So, I lost $7,000. But I did sign a contract with them, so it was their legal rig…
