I visited this facility

The rooms were a good size and had kitchen appliances and a washer and dryer. The dining room was open and people were pleasant. There's an outside deck attached and other rooms for gatherings. The kitchen is open to making concessions to dietary needs. The staff was responsive to residents coming to them.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I moved my uncle into Cornerstone in September of 2024. I cannot say enough great things about this facility. They have been caring and go the extra mile to make sure that my uncle is cared for, respected and heard. The director, Robin is an angel sent from Heaven!

The lady at Cornerstone of Oak Creek didn't know we were coming, but she still took time out of her day to show us around. It was a nice building in a good location, and it was pretty clean. I just felt like it was more of an independent living. They had an outside patio, but they only had one chair and a picnic table taking up pretty much the whole patio. The dining area was a big open space with a high ceiling, and it was attractive. It had a big stone fireplace. We were there on a Saturday morning, but we d…

There were a lot of things that we didn't like about The Cornerstone of Oak Creek. The staff member seemed cold and not friendly, and kind of rushed us through things. It was old and big. The residents have their own washer and dryer in the apartments, but they were stacked, and my wife who is using a walker most of the time would have a hard time reaching stuff in the dryer. It felt more like an institution, but they seemed to have adequate parking.

The Cornerstone of Oak Creek was nice, but I was not super impressed. Their units were not as big as I would like it to be. They were probably meant for one person. Since I have both parents, I was looking for something with more space. They did have games and exercise activities. They also have a doctor and a nurse 24-hours a day. They serve breakfast and supper. I wasn't there very long, but the people were not as caring to show people something and make them want to move in there. It was just, "OK, her…
