CriticalOur major problem is distance from Desert Hot Springs. Another concern I had was entry space to the rooms.

CriticalUnappealing. In need of refurbishing. Only one area to gather and entertain residents and that even has offices in it. Nothing going on outside. They need landscaping. Paint. New furniture. No escape from the urine smelling dining area right outside your very small and not very interesting room. As expensive (or more -as your care needs increases) as several, much nicer assisted living homes in the area. No go.

PositiveHappy residents - happy staff. When I 1st called A Home for Mom, our plan waa to explore options for the future. Mom just really wanted to be back in her own home now that my brother was retired and would be home more often to help her manage daily tasks.

At times, there was no staff visible in the building for extended periods. Communication and consistency in care were also concerning. Important information about my father's condition and fall risk did not always seem to be known by staff members. Medication administration was inconsistent, and there appeared to be confusion about h…
