PositiveCountry Place Senior Living of Foley is a small assisted living community, which is kind of what I like. I don't want to be in a big apartment or a big complex where I get lost. The whole idea is for me to make friends and have companionship. It doesn't have anything fancy, as far as a swimming pool or anything like that, but they do have exercise activities, and they go places like out to dinner, and they take day trips. I'm pretty sure those aren't forced, so you don't have to go. The sta…

PositiveWe toured Country Place Senior Living of Foley. The tour was good and the facility was great. The main issue that they had was that they were set up as studio apartments, and not as a one-bedroom like a separate bedroom with a living area, so that's why we're going to look at a one-bedroom apartment instead. PositiveSo far so good. I moved my mother in a little over a month ago and so far I must say it was probably one of the best decisions we could've made. Country Place has been wonderful for my mom. Her apartment is super cute and spacious and has everything that she needs. The facility is nice and kept super clean, she is well fed, and there is always something to do. Country Place is small enough that it feels like home and gives off big family vibes. Though she is independent, and still goes out often and sings karaoke …

CriticalI toured this facility and it seemed like a good place. It was close to home, which was convenient. But higher priced. We decided to go with a different facility, but I would recommend touring this one as an option.

CriticalThe general appearance and layout of Country Place was fine, but the vibe wasn't. It didn't have any spark of life or pep. The dining area looked fine and smallish, but OK. They have an exercise room. It's quiet, it's clean, it's not bad; there's just no feeling of attachment.
