The single apt size is really big. Surprisingly so. They are set up nicely, too. The staff is amazing--from the RAs to the kitchen staff to administration. Responsive, communicative, compassionate. The food...so so. Mom is fed regularly, but as far as taste, there's room for improvement. I get it, though. Cooking for 50-ish ppl can be hit or miss. Staff are disgruntled , and commonly manipulate situations , administration is ridiculous with regard to decision making , and fairness .They simply do what is "easiest " to free up time , and make themselves get thru the day for a paycheck. The entire staff was and has been so accommodating and welcoming.. My brother tells me he's gaining weight from all the great food. Apartment is two bedroom, very comfortable. My observation is a very clean residence.. Over all, I give Courtyard an AAAAA+++++..

No matter if you need a quick move in or have time for a planned move in they can accommodate if the space is available. They will work to get your loved one in and feeling like home in no time. All the staff from Front Office, Skilled Nursing, Kitchen, Cleaning and Maintenance take pride in their work and make a lovely home for those that want independent living without the life hassles or need assisted living for extra care. Your loved one or ones would be happy in Girard. A quiet community with a big heart.
