Creekside Manor

We were very impressed with the facility. Very well kept establishment. Care giver was very competent feeding lunch etc. . One resident wanted more to eat and was going to take one of the other residents plate and the care giver quickly got her another plate and put a small serving of food and gave it to her as she took the other residents lunch from her. The locked gate on the outside is the only real issue.

It's supposed to be a secured facility, but when I ask why the front gate is unlocked, they had said that the Fire Marshall said that it couldn't have a lock on it. Title 22 says if you are a dementia place, that you can have a locked gate. I know that they are working on it. My mother likes to be outside and she can't because she will walk outside. They don't have enough staff to supervise them outside. It was the cleanest of the ones that we looked at.
