My father has moved into Cypress Palms. He's only been in there for a bit, but he's been taken very well care of. They were very, very clear on their cost. The other ones showed their cost for the rent of the room but they didn't do a very good job of explaining the cost for the different levels of care and what you got for that level of care, and Cypress Palms did. My parents moved to Cypress Palms. They're very happy there. The level of care is excellent. Everybody's licensed and very well-trained. It's very consistent and professional. The facility is very clean. They do all the activities that they normally do in memory care. Plus, my father is still considered independent, so they can join in with the rest of the building's activities. They involve them with the little daycare next door. They come over every couple of weeks, and my mother enjoys that. …

I toured Cypress Palms. It was nice. Everybody I met seemed to be pretty fun, friendly, and personable. They have a library.

I went to Cypress Palms Memory Care. What they do is they give you a test, and if you score below a certain level, then you go into memory care, and if you score above that level, you could go into assisted. The community was calm, beautiful, and peaceful. When you first walk into the building, the foyer was quite spacious. We looked at a studio, a one-bedroom, and a two-bedroom, and they also offer what they call a friendship suite. It's two separate bedrooms, and they have little balconies off the back with …

Our family had an in person tour with Cypress Palms and we thought the tour experience was excellent and would of been acceptable for our loved one. We just decided to go with another community because of the location, the price and the aesthetics.
