I visited this facility

Everything about Dallas Retirement Village is wonderful. They don't have balconies, but they have three levels of care, independent, assisted, and memory. It's very, very bright, too. I saw some of the apartments. They also have cottages. I was disappointed that they didn't have kitchens. What they did have for coffee and so forth in the morning was very minimal. They have a system where they have a certain allotment for food. However, they have all kinds of wonderful places. It's a newer buildi…

I am/was a resident of this facility

Right now, I'm in a care facility called Dallas Retirement Village. It's well-kept outside. It has a nice entrance to come into. They have a greeting person at the table there. We have a nice dining room. We are served at a table. Whatever we want, it is brought to us. The food is pretty good. I would give it a 5-star rating. The rooms are nice. We have our own bathrooms. It's a shared shower. We have caregivers that would come in and get us up in the morning. They help dress us and everything if tha…

My family member is doing well at DRV. It takes time to adjust to living in a retirement community, and the staff are welcoming.

I moved to Dallas Retirement Village 8 months ago. I feel blessed everyday for living here. The blessings come in many ways: *I have met the most friendly, interesting residents and have established some close friendships. *The staff are all so accommodating.whether it be a server or maintenance crew, the Director or staff members. We are a community. *I feel safe which is so important anywhere one lives. *My Lodge apartment feels like a small home not a typical apartment. The attention to detail making it feel hom…
