Our experience

You Asked what are a few things we like most about the community. I asked [name removed] and he said the people. The people were friendly and nice. They were considerate and cheerful. I would agree. I found them very responsive. When [name removed] wasn't happy with his table mates when he first got there, [name removed] went out of her way to find a table where he was comfortable. When some cloth bed pads went missing they made effort to locate them. They did everything possible to accommodate our wishes. I wa…

I visited this facility

The tour we had at Danforth Adult Care Center was excellent. We were touring for memory care for my wife. I felt the place was exceptionally clean, and the rooms were nice. The residents' rooms did not have hospital beds. It was regular furniture, and you can hang pictures to put on your wall. You can also have some of your own furniture for whatever there might be room for. I felt that the staff was attentive and not in a strictly business way. I noticed how two of the residents who are living there were inte…

Excellent

I am so glad that I chose Danforth as a place for my wife, who has dementia, Although it is a bit of a distance from our home , the visiting trips seem to be short and well worth the effort and time. I can find no fault w/ Danforth or the staff. My wife is content, The rooms are clean , and roomy , They would remind you of a credible motel room , the staff are friendly and curtious and go out of their way to assist you, I would highly recommend this facility as a facility to place a loved one.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother-in-law is in a community called Danforth Adult Care Center. So far, so good. The people there go above and beyond, and they are taking very good care of her. I like the fact that it's a secured facility. They use the WanderGuard system, and they're a very hands-on place. They give the residents individualized care. The location is kinda remote but it's worth it. They're very personable, and they take time to speak to the families. They're coordinating Zoom calls so that we could s…

I visited this facility

Danforth Adult Care Center was a lovely place, and the staff was very nice. I would recommend them, but my husband has endstage Alzheimer's at this time. For somebody who is able to get about and be able to do that, it's a good place. They have all kinds of recreation, and the people are very nice.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My mother moved into Danforth Adult Care Center. Our experience has been pretty good overall, although it was hard for her to adjust when moving from independent to assisted living. My mother would say that the place is noisy at times when she's in the main room with other people. But at other times it's very quiet and my mom can do what she wants in her room like listen to TV. The food is pretty good there, and the service is also good. When I requested to take my mother home to visit they had her medica…
