PositiveLarge rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Very fast response time when needed. Lots of activities, pool table, chess table, books everywhere. If the food was better, I would give it 5 stars. Meals are adequate but nothing to be excited about.

PositiveWe have chosen to move into DeSoto Palms Assisted Living Community. Location is a great importance because it's close to my son's. The tour was very nice. It's a small community. It's only three stories high. We're on the bottom floor, which is nice because we have a dog. They're very welcoming and very friendly people. The place is very large. They have nice-sized rooms. It's laid out very nicely, and it is hurricane-proof, which is what we need.

CriticalI have few things in mind, since I’ve been surprised for many things.Also,we are tired to have a conversation with [name removed] the E.D,because she never takes care of the situation,things still happening and that’s not fear for my family members,friends and neither for us who are paying a lot of money for being and feeling mocked and deceived by her;including employees of all departments. The rooms are nasty!Full of old trash,the bad smell is unacceptable.The food is not the appropriate,poor, and the trays foo…

PositiveWe liked DeSoto Palms Assisted Living Community. It had everything. The apartments were nice. The people seemed to be very friendly. They have a lot of activities to do and people coming in and entertainment, that kind of thing. They were very thorough and very nice. We're gonna go back and look at it again. It just seemed to be well thought out. They had a salon and it was very nice. The upkeep was excellent. It couldn't be better. It's near the mall, so there are a lot of restaurants and stores.
