CriticalNo follow through by staff
A relative of mine moved in there in the summer. The staff does not proactively explain the costs and services they charge you in addition to monthly rent. The nursing department is not dependable. Medicine has been lost, failure to come was they said they were, inconsistently return phone calls to family, inconsistent response to help button around patient’s neck. The resident does not feel safe in Discovery Commons.

PositiveEverything was great, we all enjoyed the visit. The staff was friendly and courteous. The building was exceptionally clean and orderly. The food was exceptionally good, and the eating area was nice. My mother was surprised at the place and was impressed. She liked having her own room and furniture. I think she will be happy there once she gets moved in.

I would tell them my mom truly enjoys living there and the food is always great, and they can make special meals at the resident's request, as necessary. The service is wonderful and the staff always seem happy to work there. Overall very pleased with the facility and what it offers for the cost. ? I visited other facilities and, while they were nice, this was closer to my home and my mom wanted that, along with the fact she loved the room layout and the huge bathroom.
