PositiveMy mother had 2 20 day rehabs stays after breaking each hip a year and a half apart. Each time the rooms were very clean and the staff were not only wonderful to her but our entire family which is why when a close 90 plus year old friend suffered a broken hip last year we requested his rehab begin at Eastern Shore Rehab. Same wonderful staff took care of him and the network of friends that would visit. I highly recommend Eastern Shore rehab if you find yourself or friend in need of a rehabilitation facility.

CriticalI will say there is one nurse that was Awesome- Geno is great and a few other of the caretakers- sorry i dont know their names but they did tread my dad with care and compassion. But- they will kick you out due to insurance regulations with little notice and dont care if you get stuck with the extra costs due to their not getting the patients ready to transfer. They dont accept your calls or call you back if you have questions I dont know how the rehab went because they tell you nothing... if you do ask a nurse the…

CriticalI am overwhelmed by the anger I’m brought to at the most hideous, unacceptable and most inhuman treatment of humans I’ve ever witnessed! If your family member is telling you they are awoken at 2:30 AM to weigh, to change bedding, BELIEVE THEM! Food is horrific! COLD! Tasteless! My mother was there 6 days! SIX! Not ONCE were her clothes changed or did she receive a shower! Please please take your family members elsewhere! This facility needs to be SHUT.DOWN!

CriticalMy mom was at Eastern Shore Rehabilitation Center for rehab. The staff was competent. The rehab facility is laid out like a hospital floor, but they were accommodating and placed my mother across form nurses' station because she had some difficulties with ambulation. That was good. Downstairs in the nursing home facility, there was a courtyard. We went out there and sat there for a few minutes with my mom. They had a beautiful chapel that overlooked the Mobile Bay. There also was a large recreational area that…

CriticalPerhaps this may be considered "defamatory", but it is nonetheless true. Day staff is good; food is subpar; response time is based on staff's convenience, not patient's need; and, the night staff is an absolute NIGHTMARE. You can do much better by shopping around. Don't let their smiling faces and humble postures fool you. Management is either willfully ignorant of what is going on, or blissfully ignorant, blinded by the money generated. Of course, as in most Rehab facilities, you have good…

PositiveMy mom moved into Eastern Shore Rehabilitation Center. It's close to where my father lives and pretty good compared to the others and looks better. The staff is good. I tasted the food, which was overcooked, soggy spaghetti noodles, and the chicken patties were so hard, you can throw them like a disc. Its not as fancy as the assisted living with more of a hospital-like environment. They try to do different things.
