PositiveI like Edgewood - Brainerd. The rooms in memory care were very small and you felt like it was a real lockdown. I think the staff members were good. It seemed to be pretty clean. And the carpets were clean. The receptionist was very friendly. The reception area was open. The residents were sitting in an area in the reception room that had a sofa and a TV, and they seemed to like it there because they gave it plenty of good reviews.

PositiveMy parents are residents of Edgewood Brainerd. It's kind of on the edge, outside of the city itself. It's in a nice rural setting, like half a mile outside of town. It feels like it's out in the country. It's a one-level facility, which we really like, and it has a nice appearance. It has an assisted living area around one courtyard, and then behind that is the memory care facility that is then around another courtyard. CriticalI believe all residents. Should get at least one visit per week. There is alot of miss communacation with the staff and residents. My mom isn't really happy There. She Has been waiting For Them to set up an appointment with the orthopedic Doctor and they haven't done that. Its a sad sitution.

PositiveAll of the staff members here and just so nice and they are always there when I need them. The community is very clean and it has a very comfortable and homey atmosphere. The other residents are nice as well and we have a lot of activities to do like exercise groups, bingo, sing-a-longs, baking groups, and live entertainment. The food is fantastic here and they offer about 5 options for every meal. I would recommend this facility to other families.

PositiveMy sister lives here currently in the memory care unit. I really appreciate that the staff checks on her every half hour. I have been there and have seen them doing it. The staff is very friendly. I haven’t tried the food, but a friend of mine has had lunch with my sister and said that the food is very good. They have different activities at the facility including live music, bingo, sing-a-longs, trivia, and art classes, etc. The facility is clean. They keep her room clean. PositiveThis is a newer building the halls are wide for scooters if you have one. It is a nice bright dining room with good homecooked food and has lots of windows. The decorations are great. They staff is very helpful and they rotate all over the building so they know the residents and the families of the residents. He enjoys the daily activities like the low key trivia and exercises.
