My sister is at Edgewood Sartell. We like the facility and the amenities it provides. There's a big viewing screen area like a theater. There's a pub, a chapel, a game room, and a large cafeteria. There's a lot. They offer three meals a day, too. The staff is very nice. I tried the food, and it was excellent. They have a calendar showing them all the activities, and there's about one or two activities a day.

Bumpy start, but they are making extra effort. And that makes me more comfortable to be able to trust them.

Make sure when you're checking it out that they will follow through with what they tell you. I made it clear that our family member is a critical diabetic. They said they could handle that, no problem whatsoever. But after moving in, we found out they don't do sliding scales for insulin, and they don't cook any special meals for diabetics. I was told that they could change his Dexcom meter, and they couldn't. The RN and I did not get along, and he did not follow through with things, to the extent that I had to take…

I trust my loved one in their care

I would recommend Edgewood. If there's any issues, they're quick to respond. They go above and beyond. I can call at the last minute and receive assistance. I am a picky person too, because this is my loved one. He says the food is okay, but he's a man who loves to eat. I wish he had more variety in the food. Overall, I think they're good. When I walk in the building to go to my loved one's room, the common areas look clean, but I have not been able to go in to tour the whole thing due to Covid. Overall his room is…

The care center is very clean, however sometimes our loved ones room could use a little touch up here and there. She has a beautiful apartment, it is always bight and sunny and she has a bird feeder. We do think they have some activities, but for the longest time there was none. They have a nursing staff there where our loved one gets therapy and she tells us all the time how much she enjoys being there.

Edgewood Sartell is amazing! The staff are so friendly and caring, and it feels like home the second you walk through the doors. The care is personalized to my mother, and my mom loves it here. I would recommend this assisted living and memory care to everyone.

It is very nice staff checks in alot to be sure everyone is ok. Food very good fresh not frozen. The rooms are a very nice size.
