ELDERVILLA

My mother has been at Eldervilla for nearly two months and she is a different person. She is sleeping at night, she has a friend, and it doesn’t bother her when I leave. She feels at home there in a way she has not for many years at Atria Covell-Gardens. The fact that it’s such a small facility means they can concentrate on what she needs and so she can wash dishes and sweep the floor and make beds, which makes her feel like she is in her home, and she is happy as a clam. I am a resident of this place since Nov 2015 and have decided to stay here for rest of my life. I have stayed at various homes but they were just another facility with people doing their jobs and struggling with the time to pass waiting without having anyone to share feeling or make friends. Eldervilla is different and I feel it is my home. all the residents are like a family and life is once again worth living! We have a pet nala who is a great friend and companion like other residents.
