It's important to remember that my father lived at Elderwood two years ago. Some of the issues I had with the place may be irrelevant by now. I did not feel like they offered a level of care that my father required even though they claimed that they did. They were made very aware of the assistance with certain daily needs that my father required. They even did thier own medical evaluation of him! They admitted him anyway, and then neglected those needs after his admittance. Those needs were: - assistance with sho…

We think the facility is very nice. Our experience the past year has been very good. Overall I think our complaint would be with the day of arrival entry process. It was VERY long, often duplicative of questions and things we'd already gone over with the facility, but the bigger issue, I think, is no one checked back with us to see how it went!
