Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home was okay, but it only has independent living, and I wanted something down the line in case I needed assisted living. It was quite a bit cheaper. And about two-thirds of the units are subsidized, but there was a 3 to 5-year wait for that. I thought if I sold my home, I could probably pay the market rate for the 3 to 5 years while I was waiting, so that was a big selling point there. But the fact that it did not have the continuum of care, it was a bad point. The staff who gave the tour w…

My mother-in-law is now at Ellen M. Leach Memorial Home. It's manned the way it should be. They serve the food for the guests. They have everything that you need. The interaction with the staff is good. My mother-in-law has a room with a bathroom and a kitchenette. It's more like an apartment. For activities, they have bingo, and they have music night where they gather around and sing songs. They have a library, too.

My experience has been great, and management is outstanding!

My experience with this community has been great, this community is kept fairly clean. When i first came to visit, i knew this was going to be a great fit for me. The ares tarting to slowly open up activities for the residents, and some of those activities are music, games, card playing, sewing and knitting classes. I have a maid services that comes over a week to help clean my floors and shower. This community serves breakfast and lunch for us, i would have to give it about a three out of fine, it kind of goes up …

I visited this facility

I took a woman over to Ellen M. Leach Memorial Hom. It was a very nice, beautiful place, and the food was excellent. I visited several places and this was one of the better ones. Parking was a major problem, though; they didn?t have a garage for her car either. I thought the woman who runs it was absolutely excellent, showed real concern, and went above and beyond while we were there. The apartment was small for her furniture. They had a beautiful library. It was an elegant place with all kinds of positive services…

My great home

I moved into this community and I really like living here. The staff are outstanding and always attentive to any needs I have. It is always very clean and maintained. I like the meals that are served and I like knowing that I can cook my own meals if wanting. The activities are wonderful for me to participated in with others. I like the cost of the great care and great community. I would highly recommend this community to other families
