Review for Evergreen Village Prescott

My brother has adjusted as well as can be expected. There have been some changes in the staff, but I am primarily satisfied with the care he is receiving. It is a good place. The 4 (rather than 5) is because the same person is still the Executive Director, and she left much to be desired during our initial negotiating process. Fortunately, we haven't had to deal with her since then.

Evergreen is located in a nice location with great views of Thumb Butte and trees. Our tour was originally scheduled for 2:00 a representative from Evergreen called and rescheduled for 12:30 I thought it was because we were going to have lunch there. We met Alyissa the director at 12:30 and she gave us the tour, should us a single unit and also took us to a shared room, the unit has a resident and the room my mom would be assigned is smaller The room, closet are too small for my mother. Friendly tour and facility looked very clean and residents seemed very happy. When the time comes, I would consider being resident.

I would give it 5 stars, except for our experience of the director, who too often didn't respond to our texts/calls, especially at the beginning. But all of the staff have been exceptional. They really care about my brother, who has put them to the test. We are so grateful to A Place for Mom for helping us find Evergreen Village.

I have an assisted living program here at Evergreen Village Prescott. I looked around all over Prescott and Prescott Valley at assisted living places, and this was the most congenial and nature-related. It's only three stories high. The people were really welcoming. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Prescott, and I still drive, and that makes a big difference because I drive better than I can walk. They're having issues with food quality. We would have taken Evergreen Village Prescott, but my husband doesn't want to move to a different state. The tour was very good. The person who gave it was excellent. I would give this one a five all the way around. If you want extra care at the assisted living level, you have to pay $500 per service. The price was better, but the apartments were very small. They were charging $2,450 for a shared studio. The staff was excellent. They even offered a financial advocate to help us. Even though we weren't go…
