We visited the independent living community of Ferris Hills at West Lake in Canandaigua. They have four or five buildings serving different purposes. The staff members were courteous, the food was very fine, and it was a little more on the modern end. It has newer units, so it's a little more up-to-date. There is a community college in town, and they would offer some of the same kinds of extras in terms of seniors taking courses there. They have a library, and they have groups coming in to sing.
