I visited the Fox Trail Memory Care Living at South River for my sister-in-law, and I like that it was a very small community. They're in the process of renovation, and they told me that each room was going to have a different color door to help the residents find their rooms more easily because they would know what color their door was. Warm and welcoming environment.

This was the first facility I toured and left knowing it was the right fit for my father. All my questions were answered fully and I could wander around as I wished. The ability for the residents to go outside when the weather is fair was a huge plus. All the staff did everything to make this transition as easy as possible. The homey atmosphere makes it feel like you are living in a house and not a facility. I highly recommend.

I toured Fox Trail Memory Care Living at South River. The tour was fine and the director showed me around. It's a smaller scale and there was less staff. There are only two people who can get in and run around, and they're responsible for taking care of everyone and cooking. The place was new and clean, but the smell of urine was present in the dining area, which was a huge turnoff. There were shared rooms and there were single rooms available. I really like South River because everything is on one floor. Very helpful, answers questions promptly. Staff always smiling and super friendly. Interaction with my mom is great. My mom is happy and safe. Grateful for the excellent care she is getting.

It does not seem like there are a lot of activities for the residents there. For the meals and dining, I have visited when they are cooking or cleaning up, our loved one seems satisfied and the food smells good. Otherwise I have no real experience. I moved my mom from a different facility to Fox Trail So. River. My initial agreement was for [fee removed] per month. I have to comment negative on all seven - On [date removed] I asked an aide to help me walk my husband from kitchen area to TV area and she gave me a loud, flat out no on [date removed] around midnight my husband fell, was taken to hospital and died 16 days later. He was there approximately 3 months and lost almost 30 lbs They only had two aides who sat at head of TV room and watched the occupants all day.
