PositiveThere isn't much to share because they are in the independent living cottages. They don't participate in activities (but they are offered) and they don't receive care. Home size is great. I haven't had any contact with office staff in the past year, but my dad hasn't complained. I'd give 4 stars, just because there have been billing issues.

PositiveThe office/billing situation has been problematic since they moved in. But otherwise everything is fine. So I would recommend based on facilities and care. Although my parents don't receive much care being in independent living.

PositiveGood care for mom. Not enough customer service for the family. The facility is clean. We have had issues with cleanliness of our mom's room. The dining room staff is very friendly. Meals are good. Nice activities are offered. The value for cost is hard It is hard to understand why A.L. has to cost so much. The value of having our mom in a safe place cannot be measured.

PositiveGarbry Ridge would have been my first choice because of the villas, the price range, and their ability to take care of me with Medicaid (if I ever become in need of Medicaid). The villas were sort of set up like duplexes. The dining room was very nice. Only if desired to go to the dining room, you're certainly able to participate in the meals, and the price was very low. PositiveWe chose Gabry Ridge mostly due to the location. I live in Sidney. My sister lives in Troy. We are mom's main caregivers so she's located in the middle of our homes. Also we liked the rooms and just the overall environment. Staff is very kind and caring. The facility is clean and well maintained. Our mother is very happy there.
