★★★★★
PositiveThe staff was great, especially Israel, he was so helpful!! Mom didn't really need a lot of care, she can do pretty much everything on her own. The room was clean and a great size for her. We were not very impressed by the personell giving or preparing medications. That is the most important thing they should get right. Not just for my mom, but everyone there. We were just glad mom knows what she takes and could let us know
★★★★★
PositiveI was very impressed with the overall condition of the facility and the amenities offered to residents. The rooms were spacious, the halls were bright and wide, and all of the common areas were fresh and inviting. I really like the Bistro and the courtyard area for a modern relaxation experience. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and the residents I encountered all seemed to be happy and engaged with the facility.

PositiveMy loved one lives at gardens of Gainesville. He's been there almost a year. It's mostly clean, staff is kind, he likes the food, but doesn't join any of the activities. He's in independent living, but 95 years old. His apartment is a one bedroom and it's really too big for what he needs

CriticalThe biggest positive, and the reason I’m comfortable having my mom here, is the staff. They have been wonderful with her, and I’m very grateful for the care and kindness they provide. That said, I do wish more attention and investment were given to the physical condition of the memory care area, particularly the side where my mom lives. The memory care doors are dirty, and her side has older carpet rather than the hard-surface flooring found on the other side. The carpet looks like it is badly in need of a profess…

PositiveI love it here and try to make up for some of the problems that are present I wouldn't move. Apartments are very nice. They have different sizes at different rates to choose from. We have full kitchens and a washer and dryer in each apartment.
★★★★★
CriticalThe staff is friendly. My loved one is on the independent side so there is not a lot of interaction with staff that I've been aware of during visits. The facility is going through staff changes. I know they currently have had positions available. The food is good mostly, but not big enough portions from what my loved one says. It's decently clean. Maybe it could stand a little more attention, but it's not horrible... overall I think it's good for the price!
