Glen Park At Glendale - Mariposa St was a very clean facility, but it was much larger than it looks from the outside. The level of care that they offer here seemed to be much more precise and focused than at any of the other facilities. I like that they have one caregiver per seven residents. That was really important to my sister and me. They showed us the rooms, the menu, the activities, and the salon. The facility looks very nice and clean, not new or fancy, but clean. Our first impression of Glen Park at Glendale is how bright and clean it is. It smells clean! The staff have been very kind. Getting the whole care team (family, staff, administration) on the same page regarding my loved one's activity and freedom has taken some effort. But overall, communication between the administration and me has been great. The meals are well balanced and healthy, but portions seem to be very small.
