My mother is in Glen Terra. It's been going well so far. She has a room on the first floor, which was one of the things I was really looking for in a placement to have with her because she is more bedridden than mobile. Also, the room that she's in is pretty spacious. It's shared, but she has the bigger side of it, and it has a mini refrigerator, a microwave, and a little sink kitchenette type thing in her room, which I thought was cool. Although we ended up not needing to move my mom into Glen Terra, they were extremely helpful and fair in working through our situation with us. We appreciated their flexibility and the pride they took in the facility itself. If we end up needing care we will definitely return.

My friend moved to the assisted living facility of Glen Terra in Glendale. I checked out the place in February when I was looking. I thought that maybe I might find something that I thought was a little more upscale. I spoke with a terrific man there, and he took $1 from me to hold a spot if I needed that. Wonderful place for mom.

I would rate all categories a 5. We have been very pleased with Glen Terra. My mother in law has been there 1 year now and we have been very happy with Glen Terra. We have had great interaction with staff. They have been very helpful with any questions we have ever had. Especially in the beginning when settling in. Her apartment has always been clean & she has always been very clean as well which makes us very happy. She has also even gained a little weight since being there which we are very pleased with.

I had a great experience with A Place For Mom and their recommendation of Glen Terra. It is a very stressful time to place a loved one. Both a Place for Mom & Glen Terra were the best. Every person we came into contact with was exceptional & we appreciate everyone so much!

Definitely recommended

The staff is fantastic. Everybody is genuinely friendly and caring. My sister also really likes the food. She is starting to get involved with more and more activities. The activity director is wonderful. Another thing that really sets them apart is their ability to meet care needs for a wide range of clients. The wellness director and the director are both nurses, which makes a big difference. It makes me feel very comfortable to have her there.
