Grace Ridge looks positive because you can go from independent living to assisted living to the next level. They have a nice library and a nice, comfortable lounge for people to enjoy. You could play billiards there. You could get a membership to a local gym. The rooms come with a balcony, which I like. However, the staff who gave the tour didn't seem like he wanted me there. Hard to assign rating since I have nothing to compare it to.Not a review of the facility but more a review of the administrative/management staff. My unit was " "renovated " prior to my moving in. The a/c in the Master BR has not worked since I moved in 6 mos ago. I spoke with a longterm resident yesterday who told me she had not had a/c in her entire unit for 3 years!! We moved to Grace Ridge in 2017 after a lot of research and site visits and are very glad we did. The facilities are excellent, the staff is beyond amazing and the area is full of beauty and things to do. We enjoy a small fitness center, an excellent library, two dining venues with good-to-excellent food and a variety of resident types from small apartments, to standalone cottages. I toured Grace Ridge. What impressed me was that as I was going around with the marketing person, he knew everybody by name. They knew him by name; they called him by his first name. They were talking with each other, and they were walking around together. He said that when you get there, they assign a buddy who takes you around and introduces you to people. Grace Ridge is very, very nice. Their activity program is superior. Their facility is clean, airy, bright, and friendly. They have an exercise room, they have a beauty salon, and they have an activities director that plans field trips and local trips. There's a van dedicated to the patient's transportation to doctor's visits and to the exercise beyond the Grace Ridge.
