What I like most about Grand River Villa is that it was clean and the nurse and staff were very friendly. I talked to the administrator on the phone, and she was very helpful and friendly. It was clean and smelled good. The maintenance guy was friendly. I liked the layout of the place. I thought the rooms were nice and the price was reasonable. My aunt is a resident at Grand River Villa. The facility itself could use some renovating, however, this is overlooked by the excellent quality of care that is provided and it’s affordability. The facility administrator, Diana is outstanding. She goes out of her way to make sure the residents and their families are comfortable and happy. Diana takes time to communicate and listen. I fully trust that my aunt is safe and her needs are met. She has made good friends with other residents there. Bottom line is that she …

My mom's at Grand River Care Center-West and she's pretty happy where she is at. I've gotten to know the staff and the manager there. She has fallen a couple of times and they have dealt with it quickly, they've contacted me quickly, and they've taken care of her afterwards. They keep her comfortable and clean, they do her laundry, and they give her food. She's starting to show dementia and the staff and the manager have helped me with that. It's easy to talk to them. What is going on with the meals at this place, at first were very good and a lot of good food for each meal. Now hardly enough food to feed the person and a lot of left over food. What is going on here?

After college and getting myself into Real Estate; Starting a Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Business, I have knowledge of the family & Owner's of the property! I would put my Own Father their, so these people giving such negative reports are definitely looking for reprisals, and/or venting untruth's about this facility. We moved my mother in law there two months ago. She has dementia along w/diabetes, COPD, kidney failure, along with a few other conditions. I take her to her Dr appts. & her 2 separate Drs after one month, say she looks better, physically & mentally. When I told them that we finally moved her into a 24/7 facility, they both agree that's made the change, She shouldn't have been w/o 24/7 care before. The staff here are wonderful.
