What I liked least about Greenwood Place is that it did not offer one-bedroom apartments. Everything was what I would call a suite. They showed me where they eat, and they showed me the rooms that were available, but I didn't like them because they were not what I call rooms. They were not apartments. It is not that they didn't have any one-bedrooms available, but it was never built with one-bedrooms. The facility itself seemed fine. I only interacted with the salesperson, and he was fine. We're leaning towards Greenwood Place. Some of the rooms that I looked at had a really nice view of the golf course and water. That was probably the best thing. The worst is that it's hard to tell what their activities are. It would be better if I could see the activities and what they do, because I want my mother to have some good activities and exercise. My mother is very happy there. We chose Greenwood Place because of the size of it. It's not that big and my mother is so confused that I thought she would not do well if the place was too big. I also chose it because although they don't have memory care, they said they rarely lose someone to memory care because they keep the resident as long as they can feed themselves and they are not a wanderer.
