My brother is going to Hart Heritage Estates for respite care. It's assisted living plus memory care. It's more like a resort. It's like a 100-acre farm, and it's so nice. Kim took me on the tour; she's the manager. It was clean and neat. There were people in the dining room having family dinners. We liked Hart Heritage Estates in Street, MD because of the cost and that they had a memory care, which I thought would be helpful for Mom. People are able to roam around, and it was a nice family-oriented community. They gave us a good walk around in what they do and how they care for the folks. They were just honest about the care they provide and they were pretty good about explaining what they were going to do and what they couldn't do and things like that.

Good experience

We chose Hart Heritage because it was much more attractive, pricing was comparable to others we looked into, and it was very clean. The location is also great as well. The room sizes are adequate for my mom. I do think that they could offer more activities for the residents each day. I would recommend to others who are looking.

Hart Heritage review

At the moment they have cut back on activities due to COVID. When we first came to visit it seemed to be a very friendly atmosphere. The communication could be a little better, depending on who you asked you may receive a different answer. We were able to eat a meal there before COVID, and it was just okay. However, our loved one seems to be relatively happy here,

This facility is located in a beautifully scenic area. It is clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the residents seemed happy and well taken care of. [Name removed] was wonderful, very knowledgeable and accommodating. This particular facility has two locations. We ended up choosing the Forest Hill location only because of the proximity to our home. We were very impressed with both locations.
