I visited this facility

I went to Hermitage Richmond, but it was not for my brother. It was a very fine facility, but the people there were very frail, and he's very physically fit. It was extremely well-maintained and beautiful. The people seemed happy. They were old and frail, but they were walking. Half of them were walking with walkers and the ones who were in wheelchairs were well-dressed. They were looking forward to dinner and they looked like they were going out to a banquet. Mixed experience

Our experience with The Hermitage has been somewhat mixed. The facility itself is clean and well kept, the staff seem friendly, and the food is decent. However, I really think they could more activities, that is my biggest issue with them.

We really liked this place, it was interesting. They would have been able to take her if she had dementia, but they were not equipped to care for someone with psychological issues. Not many places were.

We have been very pleased with everyone

We have been very pleased with everyone. They have been very accommodating to my aunts needs. We are just real pleased. I would recommend The Hermitage. The facility is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The value is excellent. They have many activities to keep the residents busy. They offer arts & crafts, bingo, music events, golf courses, and more. Everything has been going well.

Overall The Hermitage is awesome. From the time that we visited there when we were initially looking for a place for my dad up to now everything has been really spectacular. We left there after the first day saying "this place really feels like home". Very caring, friendly, and welcoming. The staff, caregivers, everyone has been very friendly caring and helpful all throughout. Nice location, the property is well kept and very homey feeling. Staff was very helpful - everyone we met on our tour was friendly and welcoming.
