PositiveHappy with the care mom receives
The staff are very friendly and helpful, fun activities ( bingo, movies time, diamond dot club, pet visits, weekly outings) Apart size is nice. They come and clean the apartments and take trash out. Food is just ok, need more of a variety, they have had some challenges with the food service staff- cooks leaving. Overall we are very happy with the care mom has received.

We had a little hiccup when my mom first was admitted, but he had some discussion and that's been fine but I understand that they are short-staffed with medication aids, and nursing that they've had some turnover and you can certainly tell that. I'm going to go to Hickory Villa Assisted Living. The people are very, very friendly there. It's nice and clean. Your meals are included. The staff is very nice and very helpful. The upkeep and the cleanliness are close to a five. It's a nice place. The grounds are nice. The building itself and all the rooms are very nice. There are fireplaces. They posted a board of the activities for the month and showed me where that board was. That's where you find out what's going on.

Staff are all down to earth, fun and "get it" when it comes to the nuances of aging. They've taken steps above and beyond. She is well cared for and as close to happy as she can be being away from our house. I absolutely recommend Hickory Villa.
