The Gardens Memory Care at Hickory Woods was a very, very nice place, but they were a little worried with my brother-in-law because he is a chronic alcoholic. They were a little bit worried that if he wanted liquor, he might upset the other people living there. The place was excellent. I was able to go in the memory care section. Because of COVID, they only allowed us to go there. It was very clean. They only had maybe six people in there. They looked very happy. It was so clean; I couldn't believe how clean, …

My mom has moved into the Hickory Woods Senior Living. It is well established. It has been there for quite sometime. It is not leading edge in terms of appearance. It is devoted more towards comfort than appearance. In looking at other places, they had beautiful facilities, but when you sat down in the chair, it was miserable. They weren't like a home quality.
