CriticalHorrible worst mistake of our lives
My mother in law was there for 2 weeks and 3 days. It was a horrible experience. When we got there, the staff had completely changed. They had no one as an administrator. They were pulling from other offices. We were told they would have a pendant to push in case I'm an emergency also a Chef. We were there every day and saw what they had to eat for lunch and dinner and dinner. They only had a sandwich with a bag of chips. They charged us a $[removed] community fee which I would like to get a portion of that back to…

I went to Highlands Senior Living Cartersville. It was awesome. It was very nice. The people were friendly, and they had quite a few programs to keep you healthy and mobile. I noticed that there was a class going on, and people were sitting outside under the sun just enjoying their day. The person I talked to took care of me and answered all my questions. She was very knowledgeable, respectful of my time, very friendly, and very easy to work with, so I was very pleased with her and the overall feel of the place. Ho…

I think that they are doing the best with what they have – though short-staffed, the staff on hand are friendly, informative and helpful The manager has been helpful when there's been a financial issue. Recently Medicaid cancelled, Mom's check shorter, working out payment. That's important to have someone willing to work with you. It has overall been a positive experience
