Before moving to Homecrest Assisted Living, my spouse spent several months heavily sedated in a hospital ICU. He needed help with activities of daily living, as well as support rebuilding his strength, learning to walk again, and redeveloping his fine motor skills. My sister has moved into Homecrest Assisted Living. She's only been there two nights, but everything has been positive up to this point. I find the place to be clean and well lit. The staff are friendly and have been there for a number of years, which is always an encouraging sign. Homecrest Assisted Living has provided excellent compassionate care for my Mother for several years. Homecrest has a warm family-like atmosphere. The director and staff are receptive, professional and care for your loved ones as if they were their own family members. The facility is always neat and clean and my Mother loves the meals. The staff at the house made it an inviting place to stay and the care my mother received was excellent. She was cared for with great expertise and her stay was a vast improvement from the care and support she had received during her stay at an institution assisted living in our neighborhood. They supported her up to her final transition to Hospice and I still to this day check in on them, refer them to others and consider them family.
