It is a smaller facility. The staff are caring and always with the residents. We also have good communication. My dad lived in Augusta many years ago and people he knew have come to visit.

The facility is well staffed and the memory care has one standard price regardless of levels. They have been very thorough with Moms medical needs and contact me with any questions. Another plus is that they do take Medicaid, so once we need to go on Medicaid she can stay in place

I work in the Healthcare field. I go into Homestead of Augusta at least 2 or 3 times a month. It is always clean. The staff is very attentive to their residents. The staff seems to have a personal interest in the residents. They don't act like it is just a job like some other facilities. The administration works well with our agency to communicate for the best interest of their residents.

I reached out to a couple of places and they thought my aunt's cognitive problems were too serious for them to be able to care for her in that environment, but when I talked to Homestead of Augusta, they have assisted living and they also do memory care for dementia and Alzheimer's patients, and all of their staff are trained in there, so they're able to put some people in assisted living that might not meet the criteria for otherwise, and that was what sold me on it.
