Safe and Sound at Hunt Trace

Hunt Trace staff is friendly and helpful. The facility is clean. The rooms are a decent size to fit a full bed with a nightstand and a light with a dresser, tv and lounge chair in the living room part. Seems to have lots of activities. Food has a good variety. My mother in law is happy to have company and we are happy to have somewhere she is safe!

Sometimes I go down the hall and there are spills or skid marks from something. I have to dust my Mom's apartment. Mom says no one else does it. Everyone who works there is very nice and helpful.

Hunt Trace has been a true blessing. The room is nice sized with it's own bathroom. The music, celebrations, and outings are great. There's always something good going on there. Most of the staff is kind and helpful but we have had problems with one particular nurse. I was able to resolve it quickly. They keep me updated about any changes to her care and communication is excellent. If you can get a room here it's a good thing. Yes I would recommend

Staff is caring and that gives me peace of mind knowing my dad is being looked after. They hired new personnel and and provide cleaning more than once a week

Would recommend based solely on the staff and cleanliness but I am not a fan of the food.

My only real complaint is about the food. Most meals are served cold and need to be sent back. I think they overcook vegetables to the point where are extremely soft and have probably lost most if not all of their nutrients. The bread is hard. The same meats are often served but are called different things. It seems like they try to be too fancy. At our age I think basic meals and what they are called are the best that can be served. At least you know what you are getting. You can never count on what the weekly men…

Everything was acceptable but we were looking for better outdoor spaces. Our tour rep was very kind and knowledgeable.
