Very nice

Some bad. Heating and cooling is heating or cooling and selected by maintenance. Residents not completely independent can't always rely on staff to get things right. The good. The staff is friendly and patient as possible. The food one meal a day is great. You have to pay extra if you want a prepared lunch. Breakfast is self serv continental. My brother is a resident and really likes it. That's the bottom line.

Wonderful staff

The staff is wonderful, the apartments are really nice, everything is really clean the people they are very friendly. The only thing that could probably be better is the quality of food and the amount that they give you.

The entire facility is very clean and welcoming but it is the staff that makes Independent Village exceptional. From the director to the dining, reception, housekeeping and maintenance staff, everyone treats the residents like family. The activities director is amazing at bringing a large and plentiful variety of opportunities for socialization and fun to the daily calendar. My dad has been a resident here for several years, and I am especially appreciative of how attentive and caring the staff is. He enjoys the activities and benefits from the routine provided at the facility. The rooms are spacious, and the common areas have recently been beautifully renovated.
