6 month Vacation!

I moved there for 6 months til I relocated in TX to be near family. It was like a 6 month vacation for me with all the amenities included. Great people, great food and things to do (or not, your choice!). Pricy but worth every penny! Helpful in every aspect of your life. Sorry to have to leave.

I absolutely loved my time at Independence Village! The only reason I left was to be closer to my son in Texas. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. They’re quick to respond, easy to work with, and actually seem to care about getting things taken of and keeping the residents informed about the day to day activities. Independence Village of Madison Heights was home to my mom for the past 2.5 years. The apartments are so beautiful, modern & lots of natural light! The staff have all been wonderful ( especially Jean, Sheri, Melanie, Tyler, Jake, Kim , Judy, Racheal, and the entire wait staff have been fantastic! I was a volunteer here for the summer and I loved everything about it! The facility was super nice, the staff were really cool and all seemed like they enjoyed what they did. I mainly worked with the life enrichment director Kim who was always thinking of ideas and fun things to engage and keep the residents entertained! She was super fun and personable to work with. Not to mention, the residents there are all super great and fun!
