This facility and staff are wonderful. Dad was a long-time resident in the Independent Living portion of the facility. He also had a garage in the basement for his vehicle. He greatly enjoyed the ability to come and go as he pleased. For many years, he went to "work" in his local shop six days a week. As he progressed in age, and his health declined, he was able to move to the Assisted Living portion of the facility. Mom lived at I.V. about 11 months before passing. She thoroughly enjoyed it and thrived there. We as a family were extremely happy with this facility. The rooms were updated, roomy, food was very good, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Mom considered several of the staff members as friends. She enjoyed the many activities. I would highly recommend Independence Villages.
