No place is perfect

I'm deeply disappointed in the laundry situation. I don't recognize 50% of the clothes in my mom's closet and frequently she doesn't have proper sheets on her bed. Don't recognize most of the bed linens either, nor the towels and washcloths.

My wife is in YOURLife of West Melbourne memory care, and right now it's working out pretty good. They've been doing a good job. Any kind of concerns I've had, they try to attend to them. I like the fact that they pay attention to my concerns, if I have any questions or problems. The upkeep is very good. It's clean. They maintain it well. Their laundry situation is atrocious. There are clothes in my mother's closet that don't belong to her even though I've labeled all her clothes. Sometimes I come and she's wearing the same thing she had on 3 days ago.

My daughter had a wonderful experience volunteering at Yourlife Memory Care. The staff were welcoming, supportive, and clearly dedicated to providing compassionate care for the residents. My son has moved into YourLife of West Melbourne, a memory care facility. The first thing we noticed at the place is the cleanliness and the friendliness of it. Everybody met us with a smile. We've had him in three other places before moving here, and they did nothing for him. In just two weeks, the people here have done more for him than anybody else has done in a month.
