Staff is busy. Helpful when available. Food is pretty good. Roommate pees everywhere. Other patients (residents) tend to wander into our room and rummage/pilfer when my wife leaves the room, or they wander into even if she is in the room. She has a roommate, so locking the door is often problematic.

I went through the tour there at Ivy Park at Pleasanton and saw their facility, and everything looks fantastic, but the price was just way too high for my ex-wife's income. It looked very clean. There was no bad smell there or anything like that. Everything looked like it was running smoothly there. The patients all looked happy. Wonderful place. All staff were caring and got to know my brother. His room was well kept, cleaned regularly. They made us feel welcomed when we came to visit. He didn't participate in many of the activities but while I visited I got to see what they did with the residents. I talked with the nurse manager on several occasions and she was helpful and addressed my questions. I don't have anything negative to say.

Ivy Park should only do Assisted living or only memory care for docile women, they don't know how to handle memory care for men or memory care patients that exhibit aggression; I had to pay for outside additional one on one care at their facility, because they are not properly staffed for memory care and are not trained to handle memory care patients. I toured Ivy Park at Pleasanton. Nicole, the person that I saw, was extremely helpful. It's a beautiful facility. Everything's just wonderful. I felt very special going there and being treated very respectfully and everything. So, I would say that whoever can afford to go to Ivy Park at Pleasanton should check that place out.
